goes bobbin’ for an Apple
After a long hiatus from the music scene mainly due to label woes, Fiona
Apple was warmly welcomed back to a sold-out show at Chicago’s Riveria
Theatre. Her third album “Extraordinary Machine” displays her crafty
piano playing style along with her seducing and smoky sounding voice.
The night was electric as she played her piano during the majority of
the songs and performed new tracks such as “Get Him Back”, “Better
Version of Me”, “Not About Love,” and “O’ Sailor”. Of course one of her
encore songs was her big hit from years ago “Criminal”.
Fiona and her band delivered an extraordinary powerful and moving
concert. Check her out as she is currently on tour now and in 2006 she
is scheduled to be the opening act for Cold Play.
