Michael Anthony rockin’
with the Mad sauce

Michael Anthony, bassist for the
legendary hard-rock band Van Halen, is currently on tour, but not
performing on stage. Currently, Michael is on tour stopping in the Hard
Rock Café’s across the country promoting his new line of BBQ sauces.
Keep in mind, these are not your ho-hum sauces you can find at your
neighborhood grocery stores. He offers a mustard sauce, a original
style sauce which is mildly hot and then the wildly hot sauce that will
give you a rock-n-roll kick each time you put it on your favorite steak
or burger.
Spending lots of time at the BBQ,
Michael Anthony decided he wanted to rev-up his meals a little, so he
joined forces with California based Mike & Diane’s Gourmet Kitchen and
worked with them developing a line of mild and hot BBQ sauces to turn an
ordinary meal into a fire-hot, but tasty dinner you and your guests will
not soon forget. Some of the ingredients in his sauces include Pimiento
Peppers, black pepper, Crushed Chilies, Sweet Red Bell peppers, garlic,
and Habanero Chilies. In speaking with Michael, he really wanted to be
100% involved in the creation of his line of sauces called “Mad
Anthony’s Hot Sauce” and he is taking this new endeavor very seriously.
He is also thinking down the line to possibly branch out to other sauces
like Asian Dipping Sauces or Salsa, but currently his focus in on his
BBQ sauces.
\
Musically, he wanted to
let Midwest Reader’s know that he has been out of touch with the Van
Halen brothers for quite a few months now, but he is in talks with
red-rocker Sammy Hagar to possibly go on a tour in the coming year with
him. Keep your fingers crossed!
To sample a taste of
“Mad Anthony’s” hot sauces you can visit your local Hard Rock Café and
order the 11- ounce “Mad Anthony’s Grilled Skirt Steak” which will be a
permanent menu selection, or you can order any of the sauces at
www.madanthonycafe.com.
Eventually local gourmet stores will start selling it as well.
Finally…a BBQ sauce for
real rockers that will take you higher and higher! Now this is what
Dreams are made of!
