MOTOROLA “CONNECTED” TO CHICAGO A-LIST
There was plenty to shoot with a camera phone last month when Motorola
and GEN ART unveiled SLVR City at the Millennium Park in Chicago
Chicago’s “A” list celebrities turned out in force at Millennium Park to
party and socialize as Motorola and Gen Art unveiled their latest
cellular phone, the Motorola SLVR.
My friend just bought one and is now happily spending equal time on the
phone and listening to itunes songs thru it, while happily snapping
photos. With its new state-of-the-art photo technology, SLVR is a must
have at concerts and any other place where choice “photo ops” are likely
to pop up.
DJ Z Trip was in charge of spinning the tunes at the Millennium Park
party and he kept things pumping and thumping for hours.
Gen Art’s Kelly O’Brien and David Eigenburg – who is best known for
playing the role of “Steve” on the hit television series, Sex & The City
– stopped by and mingled with the guests.
Eigenburg was in town doing a play and just happened to have the night
off. Lucky us!
Chicago radio favorite Eric Ferguson and his wife Kathy were in
attendance as were radio/television celebs Bob Sirott and his wife,
Marianna Murciano.
CHEF ROCCO COOKS UP A CROWD
Celebrity Chef Rocco Dispirito was certainly a hit attraction and crowd
pleaser at Border's Books on State Street, when he made an appearance
there last month.
Dispirito chatted with fans and fellow cooking enthusiasts at a book
signing to promote his third cook book, “Rocco’s 5-Minute Flavor.”
