CARQUEST’S WORLD OF WHEELS

BROUGHT OUT THE STARS

 

          Ben Jones, aka Cooter in TV’s “The Dukes of Hazzard and a former U.S.Congressman, signed autographs and posed with the car, “The General Lee”, at the 43rd.Annual Carquest World of Wheels show at McCormick Place.

  

Joining him in meeting fans and signing autographs at the World Of Wheels were –– WWE Wrestling sensation LITA“NASCAR Rookie of the Year”, Kasey Kahne, “American Graffiti” film star, Paul LeMat and James Denton (a/k/a “Mike the  Plumber”) from TV’s “Desperate Housewives” signed autographs  at the 43rd Annual Carquest World of Wheels show at McCormick Place.

 

ALICIA KEYS THRILLED FANS

 

          Grammy award winning singer/songwriter/vocalist Alicia Keys made a special in-store appearance at Border’s Books State Street store in Chicago, where she thrilled fans by signing copies of her first book, “Tears for Water” (Gossin & Dunlap). 

 

Alicia says of the book, “It’s…a collection of my poetry and unreleased lyrics and songs from the albums. It’s also connected with stories about what provoked me to write what you read. It’s very personal and intense and shows a lot of different sides of me.”

 

FANS LINE UP FOR CLAY AIKEN

 

     American Idol superstar Clay Aiken signed copies of his memoir, “Learning to Sing” at the Border’s Books State Street store in Chicago last month. Some fans waited up to 15 hours to catch him and 600 lucky fans got themselves a signed copy...

 

SMELL “THE DONALD”...

 

          Donald Trump made an appearance at the Marshall Field’s State Street store in Chicago to promote his new men’s fragrance. 

          Chicago resident and star of The Apprentice television series star, Bill Rancic, joined in for the signing and to meet fans.
