PIVEN GALA A SPARKLING SUCCESS...

 

Piven Theatre Workshop held their now annual gala benefit – “Light Up The Night” – at Rockit Bar & Grill (owned by Billy Dec) at 22 West Hubbard Street in Chicago.  The evening’s hosts were Jeremy Piven and his mother, Artistic Director Joyce Piven of the Theatre workshop.

 

Hundreds of people purchased tickets to help the Theatre and to have a chance to mingle with the Pivens, actor Aidan Quinn, and other celebs, while feasting on the wonderful  food catered by Rockit Bar & Grill.

 

A raffle and silent auction was held and included: a Chicago Cubs “Ultimate Fan Package”; Chicago Entertainment Packages (from various restaurants, theatres, concert halls); guitars autographed by Bruce Springsteen, Bono and Eric Clapton; autographed memorabilia from the Rolling Stones, the classic film epic, “Gone With The Wind”, and such hit television shows as “The Sopranos”,  “Sex & The City”, and much more!

 

JOSE CANSECO GETS FANS “JUICED” 

 

Jose Canseco thrilled his fans when he stopped in at the downtown Border’s Books & Music on Michigan Avenue, to sign copies of his new book, “JUICED”.

 

HILTON LAUNCHED AT CHICAGO’S FIELDS

  

Nicky Hilton, sister of Paris stopped by the Marshall Fields  store in downtown Chicago to greet her fans as she launched her personal line of clothing, “Chick by Nicky Hilton.”

 

BACALL BASKED IN FAN ADORATION …

 

Veteran stage and film actress, Lauren Bacall, signed copies of her new book –  “By Myself and Then Some” – for a very large crowd of fans at the Border’s Books & Music location on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue.    

    

The former wife of film icon, Humphrey Bogart, was in good spirits, happy to see so many fans come out to see her.

 

FASHION FUN WAS HAD AT FIELD’S

 

Cate Adair, the costume designer for the television series, “Desperate Housewives”, actress Finola Hughes, the host of the Style Network show, “How Do I Look”, celebrity stylist Mia Morgan, and Shop Etc. Magazine’s editor-in-chief all part took part in the recent Marshall Field’s “Wardrobe Workshop” event. 

    

Held at the Marshall Field’s State Street store, the event helps store guests make the most of their wardrobes—without spending a fortune.
