“Testament Live: Seen Between The Lines”

This DVD is a re-release of a live video shot on the “Souls of Black” tour that came out in late 1991, a tour I saw seven times since they were opening for Slayer. Like the VHS version I have, it suffers from very poor sound quality and on top of that, the backstage footage is not very exciting, the track listing is lame, and there’s only one gratuitous titty shot.

The video quality however is pretty damn good and it’s the “classic” line-up of Chuck Billy (V), Eric Peterson (G), Alex Skolnick (G), Greg Christian (B), and Louie Clemente (D) on the stage but unless you’re a die-hard Testament fan your best bet is grab this thing used at the local Record Hut for a couple of bucks.

Though I’m a Testament fan, sadly I can only give this DVD only a “1 bottle of beer” out of a 6-pack rating...
