EATZI’s Comes To Town…Mmmmmmm!Eatzi’s Easygoing Gourmet recently had their media preview for the grand opening of the chain’s newest offering in the Century Mall in Lakeview, IllinoisOh my! Like they had to ask twice. Eatzi’s is located at 2828 North Clark Street in the atrium level of the Century Mall.
The lucky, the few, the chosen got to feast on an incredible array of offerings of gourmet convenience. From pastas, pizzas,Italian dishes, salads, European market, artisan bakery, wines from all over the universe... this gastronomic orgy to go is a welcome addition to any area of town, but I sure am glad they are in my neighborhood.
All of the food is made fresh daily and pre-packaged, labeled and placed in open view refrigerators giving a wide view of selections to choose from.
They also have deli-style, where you can mix and match everything from the best filet mignon I have tasted in years, to perfectly seasoned chicken curry and Thai fried rice, and a variety of shrimp dishes.
I do not think there is popular food item they do not have readily available to their patrons. A truly amazing selection!
If you would like a selection of fresh breads and desserts to accompany your feast, walk a few feet to the appropriate counter for personal service. And while in the vicinity of the bread, do not miss the selection of cheese offerings from around the world.
Eatzi’s should be open to the public this month. Call ahead for hours: 773-832-9310.

She did not disappoint the loyal. A few normally sane women broke down in tears upon moving up to the front to have their bottle of “LOVELY” signed and broke down crying.
Sarah, handed them Kleenex and had them walking away smiling and laughing. “Georgia”, a 24-year-old fan from Palatine, Illinois was one of those fans. When asked why she showed up for Sarah’s appearance, she stated that Sarah meant a lot to her.
