•        Country music’s 5-time Entertainer of the Year, Hank Williams, Jr. will personally donate $125,000 to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in Biloxi, Miss during his concert at Pearl River Resort on October 14.

“When I got the offer to do this show I simply could not take money from the devastated folks in Mississippi, so I passed.  Then the next morning I woke up and thought I will do that show and make a donation to help the local people,” says Hank Williams Jr. “This show will be special and who knows what will happen or who will show up, but it will be special.”

•        The Highwaymen –– Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson –– were/are each legendary in his own right, but together as a group, they were a musical force to be reckoned with.

CMT original one-hour documentary – American Revolutions: The Highwaymen – premiers October 14 at 7pm CST.

This special gives a rare glimpse into the personalities of these country superstars, peeling away their “outlaw” personas while revealing that behind their tough guy images, Cash, Jennings, Nelson and Kristofferson were just four men struggling with their own demons, creativity and mortality.

Along with archival footage of their final recording sessions and the group’s meeting with singing cowboy legend Gene Autry, there are exclusive new interviews from Kristofferson, Nelson, Jessie Colter, Shooter Jennings, Don Was, John Carter Cash, Rodney Crowell, Billy Joe Shaver and others.
