THE VIDEO EYE

(Home Video Releases of the Month)

by BEN LIKENS

The Video Eye, along with the rest of the magazine, has returned!  We all
had a good holiday season.  Did you?  Were you watching movies after many
good and filling holiday meals?  Well, it's cold out there, if you haven't
already noticed.  That being the case, it's looking like you'll just have to
stay inside and watch more videos.  It's a much better idea than going out
and coming down with some of that deadly flu.  See?  Video watching is not
only entertaining, it's healthy!  With that in mind, let's see how our recent
releases are coming along.

Let's start with Blue Streak, starring Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle,
Luke Wilson, and William Forsythe.  The story concerns a jewel thief, just
released from prison, who discovers that a new police station is standing
over the exact spot where he had buried the loot from his last job!
Columbia TriStar ships on Feb. 8.
