BEATLES TRIBUTE FESTIVAL

SIDE BAR FEATURE:

As fans, radio stations, and music lovers “here, there and everywhere” celebrate the 40th anniversary year of Beatlemania kicking off February 7th, the world’s best Fab Four tribute bands have plans to “come together” to honor their musical heroes in Cleveland.

Beatlologist, and Abbey Road On the River festival founder, Gary Jacob, has announced the opening lineup of performers scheduled for this summer’s 40th anniversary celebration hosted in rock & roll’s capital, Cleveland, August 6-8.

The Fab Faux, of New York City, featuring Will Lee of the David Letterman Band and Jimmy Vivino of The Max Weinberg Seven will accurately re-create The White Album

L.A. based Working Class Hero starring Tim Piper as John Lennon will team up with internationally renowned Scot singer Lawrence Macca as Paul McCartney to reprise the long awaited “fantasy reunion”.

Chicago’s favorite fab acts –– American English, British Export, and the Beatles Ensemble, all thirty of them, are “guaranteed to raise a smile”.

From Canada comes, All You Need Is Love, and soloist Hal Bruce who will attempt to break the world record for most Beatle songs performed in a single set: 209.

Even the Far East is getting in on the fun as Kyoto, Japan’s own Beatrips make the15,000 mile trip to the rock ‘n’ roll Mecca.

Rounding out the main stage lineup, the same The Beatles performed on 40 years ago, are Beatlemania Live, Hard Days Night, Band On The Run, Revolution, and Liverpool’s Gavin Pring (who plays George in British Export) as George Harry Son

Said Jacob, “Abbey Road on the River is the ultimate Beatles experience for Beatle fans.  The three day tribute offers something for everyone to “Twist and Shout” about including: four stages, the Penny Lane Art Festival and the Magical Mystery Film Festival.”
