Happy Holidays! So Christmas is finally here! I do not care how old
you I get, I just cannot help but love the Christmas season. Even though I
could do without the freezing cold weather, I do enjoy the snow in winter, it
really is beautiful outside. Well on to business!

AMERICAN IDOL NEWS...

Beloved co-host of American Idol, Brian Dunkleman has been replaced by Kristin Holt. Holt, as you may remember, was a semi-finalist on the first season of American Idol. The next season begins on FOX in January.

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson was not the only person to be signed to an RCA Records contract. Finalists - Justin Guarini, Tamyra Gray, and Nikki McKibbin -- also scored recording contracts with the label that was/is home to Elvis! In February of 2003, expect to see Tamyra Gray on a few episodes of the FOX television series, "Boston Public." If you have never watched the show, I highly suggest taking time to view an episode or two, it is a really a pretty fantastic show.

TV & MOVIE NEWS...

Those of you who loved the movie, Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, will be excited to hear that production has begun on a prequel called Romy And Michelle: Behind The Velvet Rope. It follows the two girls on their journey to Hollywood right after high school graduation. It stars Katherine
Heigl ("Roswell") as Romy, Alex Breckinridge as Michelle, Kelly Brook ("The Big Breakfast") as supermodel Linda Facciabella, and former chart-topper and American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, as herself.

The Charlie's Angels sequel, Full Throttle, will feature a new song by Pink, who will also be making a cameo in the film. The movie reunites original cast members Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Lui as well as some new additions, including Bernie Mac, Demi Moore, Robert Patrick, Luck
Wilson, Matt LeBlanc, Crispin Glover, John Cleese... and... ugggh... the Olsen Twins.

Speaking of movie soundtracks... My sexy Brit buddies - BBMak - have recorded a new song, "Always Know Where You Are," written by the Goo Goo Doll's frontman/vocalist Johnny Rzeznik. It is featured in the new Disney film, "Treasure Planet," in theaters now.

"The Simpsons," the greatest show ever created, will be celebrating it's 300th episode February. The storyline will be about Bart trying to become emancipated from his parents after he finds out that they made money off him as a baby commercial actor.

The Bravo Network will also be airing a special "Inside The Actors Studio" that will feature the Simpson's vocal cast which is made up of -- Dan Castellaneta, Yeardley Smith, Julie Kavner, Harry Shearer, Hank Azaria, and Nancy Cartwright.

I have to put a real quick movie plug in here. I saw this movie the other night, The Ring, and it was just about the scariest movie I have ever seen! An edge of my seat nail biter. I highly suggest seeing this movie, you will not regret it!

treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The stars will draw pictures of elements which will be auctioned off and put on display at Target House. Target House was opened in 1999 and is a free-of-charge facility funded by Target stores.

J-LO: NOT "FROM THE BLOCK?"

Jennifer Lopez recently returned to her old Bronx neighborhood to film a TV interview with Diane Sawyer. It seems from press commnetaries though that most of the people who live where she used to live, do not think too much of J. Lo these days. Some fans have complained that she did not stop to
sign autographs, and that her bodyguards pushed the excited neighborhood kids away.

WANT A NEW YEAR'S BISCUIT?

That bass slapping guy known around town as "Mr. Jam Night" -- Biscuit Miller will on stage with the guys in his band, The Mix, on New Year's Eve.
