WEAVER WINS OVER CHICAGO’S "HOT" GUYS ...

    Sigourney Weaver was presented with an honorary fire chief hat from
Chicago’s fireman.  Firefighters from New York also flew in to greet
Sigourney while in town to promote her new film -- "The Guys." 
    The film stars Sigourney Weaver and Anthony LaPaglia, who were also in
the poignant New York Stage production directed by her husband, Jim Simpson.
"The Guys" is about a fire captain that lost eight men in the collapse of the
World Trade Center Towers and the editor (Sigourney Weaver) who helps him put
together the final eulogies he must deliver.  "The Guys" is a Focus Features
release.  A reception was held at Monsoon on Clark Street and the film at the
Landmark Century Theatre.

TWINS SONS OF DIFFERENT MOTHERS ...
    
    Vern Troyer, better known as "Mini Me" from the "Austin Powers" film
franchise, and Steve Wilkos the world famous bouncer from "The Jerry Springer
Show" signed tons of autographs for fans at the Carquest World of Wheels show
at McCormick Place.

WORLD CLASS HUNK HITS TOWN ...

    Estée Lauder’s sexy male model, Jon Passavant named by Cosmopolitan
Magazine as one of the "The World's Top 5 Male Models," autographed
"Intuition for Men" fragrance bottles and greeted his legions of female fans.
The event was at Marshall Field's State Street store.
