HAPPENIN' LOCAL SITES....

With summer just around the corner, people are looking for fun things to
do. There are many sites on line that provide great information on everything
from the best restaurants in town to where the coolest bars are. I scoured
some of the top search engines to find the best sites out there.

www.chicago-scene.com

Chicago-scene.com is a place to go to find up-to-date information on
what's happening around Chicago's Nightclub, bar, restaurant, and music
scene. The offer a cool newsletter to keep you up to date on the local

pictures of celebrities caught on camera in the chi-town area.

 BAND SITE OF THE MONTH

Can I get a drum roll please? This site really knocked my socks off. If
you want to see an outstanding band website, visit http://www.wishfans.com/.

The graphics are incredible, and it is organized well. It provides plenty
of information, without the overkill. All of you musicians out there should
take a look at this site and ask yourself if your website measures up to
these standards.

That’s about all I have for you this month. Remember to keep those emails
flowing to  me at: kel@outtasiteweb.com .  Write to me if you want to see
something listed in this column, or if you would like to be in the running
for band site of the month, or if you just want to comment on the Midwest
BEAT’s web site or our “Online Edition.”

Next time you visit our site, please be sure to sign our guest book at the
Midwest BEAT site –– www.midwestbeat.com
