Hello again to all of you who take the time to stop by my little corner of newsprint to see all that will be fresh and new in the month of November in the way of music.  Here we go...

NOVEMBER 2...

You might as well stop by the record store on November 2nd after you vote... that way you’ll have something new to listen to while they count the votes!

You can pick up The Curse of Blondie from, you guessed it, Blondie...

Steve Earl’s Live From Austin, TX is more your flavor... John Frusciante will explore the Inside of Emptiness, while guitar great, Gary Moore gets Back to the Blues...

Live Licks is not an independent film about male fetishes from Jim Hillegonds, but rather a compilation of songs from the Rolling Stones’ last tour...

King’s X will also have their long-awaited double disc live set ready for release... I’ll be awaiting that one!

Time Will Tell if fans like this new Robert Cray record... Ruben Studdard claims I Need an Angel.  My guess is that he needs one to keep his career going...

And…oh yeah… LeAnn Rimes has a new effort, This Woman.

NOVEMBER 9...

Elton John will take a stroll up Peachtree Road... The Doobie Brothers are Live at Wolf Trap...

The Stray Cats will drop Rumble in Brixton recorded on their European tour...

The soundtrack to the SpongeBob SquarePants movie will be ready...

George Thorogood who is celebrating his 30th anniversary in music this year, wishes you a Merry Christmas Baby.

NOVEMBER 16...

Bon Jovi will release a 50-song box set spanning the band’s career on the 16th.  100 Million Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong borrows a title and cover from an old Elvis Presley LP, and should delight fans with unheard tracks, demos, live tracks and more.

It’s a safe bet that Julie Lounges will be guzzling Starbucks and standing vigil at the nearest record retailer to be the first on her block to own the massive collection from Jersey’s Bon-boys

Collective Soul gets back to their Youth... Mike Keneally will unveil Dog... Rammstein wants everyone to Reise, Reise...

Destiny Fufilled is the comeback from Destiny’s Child... and Eminem will perform his Encore.

NOVEMBER 23...

Anthrax decided to leave the track list of their new live LP to their fans.  The Greater of Two Evils contains 14 songs that were chosen by fans on the group’s website...

Dido goes Live at Brixton Academy... John Frusciante has yet another LP for release this month with this day’s A Sphere in the Heart of Silence.

Happy housewife Jessica Simpson wants the world to Rejoyce... Gwen Stefani goes solo on Love, Angel, Music, Baby...

And wrapping up the week is U2, who will provide the world with instructions on How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.

Not much stirring on November 30th, so I decided to save the space and wish all of the faithful readers of the Midwest BEAT and their families a Happy Thanksgiving!  See you all next month!
