Hello once again.  Fall is here, the kids are in school, and many new albums are afoot.   Here’s what is on tap for you this month.
 

SEPTEMBER 7...

 
Aside from successful runs as a drummer with both the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam, Jack Irons has his much-anticipated solo LP ready for release.  Attention Dimension will arrive on the 7th, and features guest spots from Flea, Les Claypool and Ed Vedder
 
Former Fleetwood Mac songbird Christine McVie has a solo effort ready which is titled, In The Meantime
   
Heavy rockers will be happy to hear that Alchemist will send in The 1st Infantry… Likewise, Live Free or Die is the latest proclamation made from fellow heavy metallers D.O.A.
   
Singer/songwriter Matthew Sweet returns to the world of pop music to encounter Living Things… And age defying Aussie songstress, Kylie Minogue, will release a DVD of Body Language Live.
 

SEPTEMBER  14...

 

Christmas seems to be being pushed into stores earlier and earlier every year.  Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will release their Christmas Album three months prior to the big day… Gov’t Mule gets Deja VoodooFlogging Molly makes it Within A Mile Of Home…    
 
Outta Sight/Outta Mind is the new effort from The Datsuns, which was produced by Led Zeppelin alumnus John Paul JonesPapa Roach is Getting Away With Murder… Evidently, Size Matters to the guys in Helmet… Jazz great Branford Marsalis proves to be EternalMegadeth are back on the retail shelves once again to prove that The System Has Failed… And everyone’s favorite big breasted country chick, Dolly Parton, proves to be Live & Well.
 

SEPTEMBER  21...

 

Les Claypool has put Primus on the back burner to debut his latest side-project.  Colonel Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains will unveil The Big Eyeball in the Sky… Seminal punk rockers, The Cramps, will show their blueprints on How To Make A Monster… A 2-CD live album from King Diamond is on the way… Green Day will bring their “punk” sounds back to mainstream audiences with American Idiot… And the 30th Anniversary Concert from rootsy garage rocker George Thorogood will be available on CD and DVD come the 21st.
 

SEPTEMBER  28...  

 

John Fogerty enters the fourth quarter of the year with Déjà vu All Over Again… Chicago’s own Earth, Wind & Fire get Elevated… A live DVD and CD are called on the way from Jackyl
    
Mark Knopfler is back after his long recovery from a near-fatal motorcycle accident with his new record, Shangri-La… Jim Hillegonds has an EP with six acoustic guitar songs, titled Running Backwards Through a Cornfield, Naked… And to finish things off, The Neon God- Part 2 from none other than W.A.S.P. will be ready for your consumption.
